Point72 Financial Analyst interview experience

Got offer

Hard

Negative

New York, NYPosted Sep 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I experienced the Financial Analyst process as very long and repetitive, even though many people were kind, and it ultimately didn’t lead to an offer.

Screeners — I went through initial screening steps.
Case studies — I was asked to complete case studies as part of the pipeline.
On-site rounds — I attended on-site interviews that extended the timeline.
Multiple iterations — Some parts repeated, which made the overall experience feel longer than it should have. Outcome: No offer, and the takeaway was that while the interviewers were personable, the duration and repetition made it difficult to stay consistent and focused.
