I went through a difficult interview loop for the Data Scientist role that combined programming, phone screening, and three targeted video interviews.

Resume screen — initial screening.
Online assessment — Python and SQL.
Phone interview — follow-up conversation.
Three 30-minute video interviews — each targeted different areas: math/stats knowledge, deep dives into technical details of past projects, and a case study. Outcome: I didn’t move forward; the takeaway was that they tested breadth (math/stats), depth (project specifics), and applied thinking (case study).
