The interview began with a self-introduction, and then it moved into questions tied to my resume—what I had done in previous experiences and a few theoretical academic questions.

After that foundation, the technical portion focused on probability.

I was asked three separate probability questions, which made the round feel more concentrated and topic-specific than some of the broader formats I’d seen elsewhere. Difficulty was average, and the pace was such that they felt like they were checking whether I had clean fundamentals rather than testing for clever loopholes.

I didn’t get an offer. My reflection was that the structure made it easier to follow what they valued—resume depth plus theoretical grounding—then a direct check on probability knowledge.
