San Francisco, CAPosted May 2016 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for Software Engineer with two technical phone screens, but felt the feedback and recruiter communication were too impersonal and slow.

Phone screen #1 — Technical questions followed by questions about my background; after I finished, it took about two weeks to hear about next steps.
Phone screen #2 — More technical problems; afterward, another two weeks passed before I was informed of rejection.
HR communication — I only received templated emails and didn’t get meaningful feedback about why I was rejected. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; the takeaway was that even when the technical work goes well, lack of feedback can leave you uncertain about what to improve.
