I interviewed for Software Engineer with an OA-first flow and was rejected after phone follow-ups, even when I felt my problem-solving was strong.

Online assessment (HackerRank) — I did an OA, described as having harder-than-expected overall problems.
Phone interview(s) with engineers — I then had technical interviews by engineers, including a session with a leetcode question plus a follow-up.
Rejection timing — In one path, I solved for optimal solutions but still got rejected without feedback right after the interview sequence. Outcome: I didn’t move forward to an offer, and the takeaway was that even strong coding performance didn’t guarantee advancement when there was little/no feedback.
