My first conversation was with the recruiter, and she was friendly while also walking me through more about the company and the role.

She asked about my experience, and it felt like she was trying to get a clear picture of how my background matched what they needed.

After that, I met with the hiring manager, who was very easy to talk with. We focused on my skills and my background, and I never felt like the conversation was overly formal or rigid. The whole experience felt average in difficulty, and overall it felt more conversational than intense, with both early-stage interviews helping me understand the position better.
