I was reached out to through AngelList, and after an initial recruiter call I received a coding exercise.

I completed it to the specifications, including adding tests and commenting. A few days later I got a rejection email from the recruiter.

What annoyed me most was that there was no follow-up when I asked for reasoning. The process overall felt like it lacked structure and fairness, and I got the impression it wasn’t very organized or transparent.

I didn’t receive an offer, and I walked away thinking I wouldn’t recommend applying there or responding to their invitations.
