This one started with a phone screen split into two parts: behavioral and a coding question.

Then I went to an onsite that had three components—behavioral, coding, and system design.

The questions themselves felt pretty easy overall, which was honestly surprising given how much time the process took. I remember walking out thinking it went better than I expected.

Still, I didn’t receive an offer, which caught me off guard. It wasn’t a case where I felt like I bombed; it was more that I couldn’t reconcile the outcome with the relative ease of the questions I experienced.
