San Francisco, CAPosted Mar 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a hiring manager conversation first, and then I moved into a couple of technical sessions.

One of them was a two-hour tech deep-dive with a pair-coding component, and later I had another one-hour pair-coding question a few days afterward. After the last technical round, I got a quick thank-you email within a couple hours. Even though the timeline felt long overall, the questions were clearly tied to fintech and to what Plaid actually does, not the typical generic algorithm drills. I also appreciated that I could use my own coding environment and tools, and that the interviewers came across as knowledgeable and pleasant.
