Plaid Software Engineer interview experience

After I submitted it, the recruiter reached out about two weeks later to schedule a final interview.

The final round involved multiple team members, with 30-minute interviews across the panel. There wasn’t much hand-holding between rounds, and what I noticed early on was how hard it was to get responses—when I tried to contact recruiters, I often felt ignored or left hanging.

I didn’t receive an offer. The technical part wasn’t what surprised me most; the communication gaps did. It left me feeling like I had to be persistent just to get basic updates.
