I was contacted with a web scraping project and given a couple of days to complete it.

I finished in about 1.5 days and sent the work back.

After that, I received an email saying there wasn’t a fit. The experience was fairly neutral overall, but I would’ve appreciated some feedback on what didn’t match or how to improve—especially since I’d already put the time in. I understood they might be dealing with a high volume of applicants, but the lack of any detail still left it feeling a bit abrupt.

I didn’t move forward from there, and while the process wasn’t hostile, the communication felt thin.
