After a recruiter screening, I went into a technical interview process where the recruiter first walked me through what Pismo does and the benefits they offer.

The messaging focused a lot on how they value credibility from big-company backgrounds while still positioning themselves as an emerging startup.

The technical round was centered on my past work environments and, more specifically, how I think about culture and collaboration. It wasn’t a long chain of steps in what I experienced—it was more of a straight path from recruiter screen into technical evaluation. I left feeling like I understood the direction of what they cared about, but I didn’t progress to an offer.
