Pinterest Machine Learning Engineer interview experience

The structure still followed a typical pattern—there was a screening and mentions of multiple onsite interviews—but my experience stopped early.

The biggest issue was communication. The interviewer had very poor English, and it was hard to understand the questions and what they expected from me. Sometimes I felt like I was guessing what they meant, and that uncertainty became frustrating.

Even though the screening was the only real interaction I had, it shaped my impression of the process. It didn’t feel like I could fully demonstrate my skills because the conversation itself wasn’t clear.
