I had a phone screen with a recruiter first, and after that I was scheduled for a technical interview.

The technical interview had two parts: ML theory and LeetCode.

I felt like I did well in both sections, so I was surprised when I received a generic rejection email anyway. I reached out to the interviewer on LinkedIn because he mentioned he’d approved me to proceed, but it seemed like the HR side had rejected me. I followed up with HR multiple times asking for feedback, and that effort ended with silence.

That lack of transparency made the whole experience feel unfair, especially since the technical portion went smoothly. I never got the clarity I was looking for.
