I interviewed through a background-focused phone step, a task stage, and then a panel, and ultimately received an offer.

Phone call with external recruiter + hiring manager — I spoke with a recruiter first, then later with a hiring manager where the conversation focused mostly on my background.
Task stage (“Mt. Fuji”) — I completed a task before the panel.
Panel interview — After the task, I joined a panel interview where they asked multiple questions. Outcome: Offer received, and my takeaway was that even when initial questions were light on technical depth, the task plus panel led to a decision quickly.
