I got stuck early in the process after failing a timed cognitive assessment.

Event recruiting / assessments kickoff — I met recruiters at an event and was encouraged to apply; they sent a personality assessment plus a timed cognitive test to complete within about 15 minutes.
Cognitive test retry — I reached 48 out of 50 questions on the cognitive assessment and failed, then was immediately given another attempt.
Follow-up feel — After the retry, I felt the process was wasting my time and didn’t move forward. Outcome: No offer; the fast, high-stakes assessment cycle ended things early.
