Denver, COPosted Dec 2020 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

Interviewing with the managers felt oddly familiar, like talking with people from the same social circle—more upbeat than formal.

The bigger issue for me was the role setup: it wasn’t remote, and during the pandemic they required people in the office.

That requirement felt old-school and out of place for a tech company, at least based on how the role was framed to me. The interviews themselves didn’t come across as hostile or overly difficult; the uncomfortable part was the work arrangement.

By the end, I felt like the process was fine on interpersonal grounds, but the expectations around office work were misaligned with what I was looking for.
