Halifax, NSPosted Aug 2017 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I got filtered by a very unusual “stress test” style assessment after an initial recruiter call, without any software coding interview.

LinkedIn outreach + recruiter call — A recruiter contacted me, and we had an initial phone conversation about my experience.
Resume request + outline of next steps — I sent my current resume and learned about their assessment-driven process.
Cognitive ability test (“stress testing” framing) — The process required a cognitive ability test described as intense and time-pressured.
Rejection after assessment — Afterward, I was told they were proceeding with other candidates, and I wasn’t asked to answer a software question. Outcome: No offer; the assessment phase ended
