I found this process enjoyable and straightforward, with a CCAT, a relevant take-home, and a team chat that felt more casual than interrogative.

Initial phone screening — A screening call to start.
CCAT assessment — I completed a CCAT evaluation.
Take-home test — I built a solution to a set of requirements that weren’t overly complex; it was described as fun and very relevant to the role.
Chat with the team — A behavioral-style chat that felt conversational and direct, without overly scripted “tell me about a time” prompts. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer, but I decided to stay at my current company.
