Persistent Systems Full Stack Engineer interview experience

In one of the rounds, the interviewer seemed unsure about how the interview should go, and the bar they set felt like it expected an architecture-level profile despite my years of experience being in the middle range. The discussion centered on Azure services and patterns like Azure Functions, Service Bus, Azure Queue, and Cosmos DB.

In another technical experience, I ran into a similar issue: the focus drifted toward nitpicky Java syntax instead of broader engineering thinking. I was grilled on basic Java fundamentals rather than system design, architecture reasoning, or trade-offs like
