My process was pretty extensive and moved through multiple layers.

It started with a recruiting staff interview, then I had conversations with engineers, followed by an online technical test and a separate in-person technical test. The structure also included an interview with the founder.

The online test didn’t feel like it was telling me much—it gave an hour to respond with something fairly generic. The in-person technical part, though, was more enjoyable. Overall, I could tell there was effort in setting up the steps, but the way the process began with a vague online screen left me unsure how much it actually reflected my abilities.
