From the start, the early technical test felt straightforward—basic questions that didn’t feel unfair.

Then the second stage turned into something that threw me off immediately. I joined expecting a screen-share coding challenge, but I wasn’t given what I needed to proceed: the interviewer asked to see a prepared API I hadn’t built, even though the scheduling email hadn’t mentioned any setup beforehand.

The interview turned into a rush. The interviewer kept steering me away from proper structure—saying not to worry about file layout or interfaces—just make it work in a functional way. I finished, described the approach I would have used for a more correct structure, and still got rejected.
