Right after I made contact with the recruiter, I had an introductory phone call that led into an online assessment.

After that, I was asked to join a video interview.

The video conversation didn’t go smoothly in terms of connection and engagement—honestly, the interviewer seemed distracted or not fully present, and I felt like I was mostly talking into the void. I still answered questions as they came, but the lack of back-and-forth made the whole round feel awkward and low-energy.

In the end, the process didn’t move forward and I wasn’t selected. Even though the format was simple, the experience left me more unsettled than evaluated, because it felt like the interaction itself wasn’t working.
