Penn State Research Analyst interview experience

The main theme was my fit for the lab through my past experience and the goals I had for my work there. I also got questions about my technical competencies, including whether I could code and whether I could handle wet-lab work.

Even though the process was simple, it still landed on the same two things: proving I had the skills they needed and explaining what I was aiming to do once I joined the group. I left feeling like the conversation was less about trick questions and more about whether my background matched what the lab was trying to build.
