I experienced the kind of process where you clear a lot of rounds and still get a rejection that doesn’t feel coherent.

I attended an interview in Bangalore and managed to clear every stage up to a director-level discussion via WebX, and I even received positive feedback throughout the rounds. The feedback gave me real confidence that I was in good shape.

Then, a few days later, I got an email saying I wasn’t suitable for the role. It was frustrating because it felt like the earlier signals didn’t match the final decision at all. When I tried to make sense of how I could have been progressed and encouraged through multiple stages only to be turned away at the end, it left me angry and confused.
