I went through a more structured and elimination-heavy set of rounds, combining deep technical discussion with managerial-level evaluation and an HR fit check.

Technical discussion — a long, interactive technical session.
Techno-managerial discussion — another one-hour round balancing engineering judgment and how I’d operate in the org.
HR culture fit — a final one-hour elimination step.
Manager + director-style system design / advanced discussion (alt path) — in another similar loop, I saw system design manager and director rounds plus HR. Outcome: No offer; the takeaway was that they looked for technical depth plus how I think/communicate when stakes are higher.
