I started with an email invitation for a phone screening, and that part went well.

The recruiter was friendly and clear about what would come next, saying the following step would be a conversation with the hiring manager.

After that initial call, the process just stopped. I ended up waiting and then followed up about a week later, but I never got a proper rejection or any meaningful update. It honestly felt like I was left hanging after the recruiter interaction.

Even though the screening itself went smoothly, the lack of closure made the whole experience sour by the end.
