Pearson Software Engineer interview experience

I went through a couple of rounds focused on behavioral questions and talking about personal projects, and the structure was pretty simple and spaced out over the week. There weren’t any coding exercises or technical deep dives in the interviews I did.

In the earlier stage, the conversation was mostly about me—my interests, hobbies, and teamwork from past group work. When I met the hiring group over video, it stayed conversational and I was even able to answer in more than one language for the discussion.

After those sessions, I didn’t feel like I had to “perform” in a coding sense at all.
