HR set up my interview fairly quickly, but they were hard to get in touch with leading up to it.

When I finally had the interview, it was short—and it honestly wasn’t a pleasant experience. The interviewer asked questions that didn’t feel relevant to the role, and then cut my interview off after I mentioned my availability halfway through, even though I’d already highlighted that in advance because it was a short-term position.

What surprised me most was how directly that mattered for whether I got to finish the conversation. The awkwardness around the timing and the lack of role alignment left me feeling unsettled by the end, even though the process itself was scheduled fast.
