The questions I faced were average DS problems, and I remember the process behaving in a particular way around offers.

They wouldn’t provide an offer letter in writing until they believed I was going to join.

I didn’t get a written offer because I pushed back on the proposed numbers from HR. The structure made it feel like negotiations weren’t just about compensation—they also affected whether paperwork ever arrived.

It ended with no offer for me, and the main memory is how tightly they linked the offer letter to whether they thought I’d accept.
