PayPal Product Manager interview experience

The first two focused on product work, and the final round involved an engineering and product pairing feel, where they pushed me on both product solving and validation.

Across the questions, the range connected back to end-to-end capabilities. I wasn’t only asked to explain an approach in theory; when I gave examples, they went deeper—expanding into how I’d validate uncertainty and what the full capability would look like end to end. The difficulty felt genuinely challenging compared with a standard behavioral-heavy screen.

Even though I cleared all three rounds, I didn’t receive an offer.
