San Jose, CAPosted Mar 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I only went through what felt like the earliest stage for me: a recruiter call that was basically a resume scan.

They asked about my tech stack, what I had been working on, and what I was interested in. It was light enough that it didn’t feel like a high-pressure evaluation.

The recruiter also emphasized fit—why I wanted to work at the company—so I needed to be able to talk through my motivation in a concrete way. It was straightforward and mostly about understanding my background.

I didn’t move forward after that stage. My honest reflection was that the call didn’t test my coding ability at all, so it came down to how well I could translate my experience and motivation clearly.
