Paycom Software Engineer interview experience

The coding questions leaned toward easy LeetCode-style problems, but the interviews also spent time on fit and how clearly I could talk about my background.

I remember that communication and confidence mattered, especially around project impact and fundamentals. Between the HR and manager conversations, it felt like they were trying to understand how I’d collaborate and how I present myself, not just what I can solve on a screen. It ended up going well and I received an offer, and I was honestly relieved by how straightforward the overall process felt once I was moving through it.
