I had a recruiter call first, and it didn’t really feel like it followed a clear question format.

I showed up prepared and answered all the questions correctly, and the conversation went fine enough that the recruiter scheduled an interview.

But after that, I received a rejection email anyway. When I asked for feedback, I didn’t get much of a response from either the recruiter side or the company side, so the whole thing left me feeling confused rather than informed.

What made it memorable wasn’t the technical difficulty—it was the lack of clarity around next steps and how quickly things ended even after I felt positive during the conversation.
