Paychex Account Executive interview experience

The recruiter process involved multiple stages, and the total number of steps was high enough that I lost track of how many conversations I’d have. The overall arc included 1:1 interviews, shadowing, presentations, and even a panel before a final round, all while I kept hearing that the company typically hadn’t hired from outside the industry—yet they were actively moving me forward anyway. It felt like they were carefully measuring me.

At one point, the interviewer even framed it like an unusual commitment, and it ended up requiring an extensive time commitment—something like 20+ hours.
