I started with a recruiter reaching out, and the early communication made it seem like things were moving.

My first scheduled meeting turned into a weird detour because I began getting random text messages from a “local manager” to coordinate the next step at unpredictable times. When I finally met with him, he was unprofessional and asked personal questions that didn’t really connect to the role or my work history. Eventually he said I’d move forward, but the second interview didn’t show up on a reasonable timeline.

When the next stage finally happened, I felt like I performed well, but then I didn’t hear anything back for weeks—long enough that I had to email the recruiter just to check status.
