My technical conversation was relatively casual, and it leaned into the kinds of day-to-day questions tied to the technologies they used.

They asked me questions related to the languages they worked with, and then they went broader—other technical topics I knew about and some random areas outside the exact scope, just to see how wide my knowledge was.

I wasn’t given a highly structured, formal grilling format. It felt more like an ongoing back-and-forth where we bounced between what I knew and how I explained it.

I ended up receiving an offer. Overall it didn’t feel intimidating, but it was still detailed enough that I felt I had to be on my toes with my answers and explanations.
