My interview was conducted with two project managers, and a lot of it tested whether I could clearly expand on my experience and how relevant it was to the job.

The discussion wasn’t just about listing past work; it was about connecting it directly to what they were hiring for.

They also emphasized commitment to safety and the idea that I should be competent in the role. The questions and framing made that clear from the start.

I came away feeling like the interview expectations were aligned with how project managers think about day-to-day execution. The process went well and I received an offer. Looking back, the part I appreciated most was that they were explicit about what mattered—relevance of experience, safety mindset, and competence.
