My recruiting loop was intense in a very specific way: the questions were classic behavioral prompts, but they were delivered in a way that felt like a stress test.

I remember being asked to describe a professional achievement I was especially proud of, then immediately getting pressed on how I’d grown my skills in my last role and how I’d apply that growth to the job.

Then the hardest question landed—talking through my greatest professional failure and what I learned from it. It wasn’t about solving a technical problem; it was about how I framed risk, ownership, and reflection under pressure.

Overall it felt difficult compared to the rest of the process I’d had elsewhere, and I left that round feeling like the bar was mostly about depth and maturity
