The first thing that made my process feel serious was how technical it was expected to be.

I was told to be familiar with market trends and the company’s portfolio, and the networking side focused on concepts in the CCNA/CCNP range.

My interview ended up having five steps and included three separate technical calls. The length and number of touchpoints made it feel difficult, and it wasn’t just casual conversation—it was more like multiple passes of technical evaluation, all in a row.

I didn’t receive an offer. Even though it was clear what they were looking for, the multi-step structure and the expectation of domain familiarity made it harder than a typical software interview
