I got contacted by a recruiter for a new grad role, and the first real touchpoint was just getting aligned on what I was looking for.

After that, I did a virtual onsite that centered on learning and decomposition, with two engineers running the sessions. Both interviewers came across as talented and professional, and the whole thing felt pretty structured and respectful.

The process didn’t end with an offer, and I never got further than that onsite experience. Still, the vibe was notably positive—less about trying to catch me off guard and more about watching how I thought through the learning/decomposition style prompts. Overall it felt like a credible process, even though the final decision didn’t go my way.
