I had an initial phone call and then moved into a multi-part in-person interview.

The recruiter and early conversation pulled on both my career ambitions and my general technical aptitude. I remember feeling like I learn quickly and that my background leaned more data-science than classic software engineering, and that mismatch showed up during the software technical questions. Even though I could reason through things, I didn’t feel like I was able to answer in the way the interviewer wanted, and the whole experience gave me the sense that I wasn’t targeting the right role for my strengths. I didn’t get an offer.
