I had a pretty responsive process overall, and the first technical round felt strong.

The engineer interview was conversational, and the questions were explained clearly, so I felt like I was in control of the back-and-forth.

The part that went worse was the system design portion. The interviewer was talking super fast, and I couldn’t catch up to what they were saying, which made the round feel rough even though I understood the general idea of what system design discussions were supposed to cover.

I didn’t receive an offer. What I remember most is how much the outcome depended on real-time comprehension, not just my technical knowledge.
