I had a relatively short run focused on coding, but it was undeniably tough.

The engineers I spoke with were genuinely nice and seemed very sharp, and even though the questions were hard, their tone was supportive—I felt like they were willing to coach rather than just test me.

Even with that helpful vibe, I didn’t get moved forward after the coding stage. It was one of those situations where I understood what was being asked, but I couldn’t get to the level of performance they wanted under the time pressure, and the result ultimately wasn’t enough for the next step.
