I came in through a referral and then had a short recruiter call.

After that, I did a 30-minute technical interview, and then there was a two-hour virtual onsite that ultimately ended with a rejection.

The interview sequence was compact but high stakes: recruiter → technical screen → a long onsite session. Even though I got through the initial steps, the onsite was where it didn’t click for me, and I received a negative decision afterward.

What stuck was how quickly the process escalated once I passed the first screening; the onsite wasn’t forgiving, and I could feel that it was a final checkpoint rather than another learning step.
