My technical interview was fun and I felt like it went well; I even received positive feedback from the engineer afterward.

After that, the process stalled on the recruiter side. I followed up about two weeks later and got ghosted, and then—after another few weeks—the recruiter reached out again but the follow-up never turned into any real closure.

The end result was that I never heard back with a decision. The whole experience left me feeling like there wasn’t a solid system for communicating status after the interview.

It was hard because the technical step itself felt encouraging, and then the silence after was the part that actually stuck with me.
