My early Otter.ai process began with a phone screen meant to understand my technology background and projects from my resume.

The interviewer was friendly, and the conversation focused on getting a quick read on what I’d built and what I knew.

They also gave me a few days to work on a demo application. That part felt like a real chance to show work, not just talk about it.

What was frustrating was the lack of follow-through afterward: the interviewer didn’t return a detailed response to my demo application email. It left me with more questions than clarity, even though the initial interaction and assignment felt promising.
