My process included a recruiter phone screen, then a phone interview with someone on the data team reviewing my background, followed by a take-home case study, and then an onsite made up of five 45-minute interviews with no breaks.

From the start, the candidate experience felt rough.

The recruiter actually cancelled my initial phone screen the day of and didn’t reschedule until after the weekend. Even after that, communication felt inconsistent and I experienced lateness when they reached out. On the onsite, things got even more disorganized: I believe two of the five people who were supposed to interview me didn’t show up, and two interviewers were late—one by 10 to 15 minutes. I also needed accommodations for a physical ailment, and the interviewer wasn’t informed about it ahead of the whiteboard session.
