San Francisco, CAPosted Jan 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My Oracle journey started with a screening round where the coding was in C, which caught me off guard since my background was more C++.

I got called back for a second screening, and during that chat they told me I’d be moving on to the next stage.

After that, the process went quiet. I ended up getting ghosted by my recruiter even though I’d been told to expect the next step. The frustrating part wasn’t just the pause—it was that I had no clear closure on what had happened after the second screening.

Overall, I felt like things were moving forward early on, but the lack of communication made the whole experience feel unfinished.
