Oracle Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

Hard

Positive

HyderābādPosted Dec 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My Oracle interview turned out to be one of the more positive experiences I had, even though the level was clearly demanding.

The questions felt thoughtful and high quality, and overall it came across like a real learning experience.

The biggest takeaway was that the difficulty wasn’t something I could “wing.” I needed deep knowledge and a strong grasp of my resume so I could answer questions precisely and connect them to my background. If I hadn’t prepared thoroughly, it would’ve been hard to follow and harder to convince them.

I did get an offer, and I left feeling like I had to meet the bar seriously rather than just doing surface-level coding.
